Questionnaire about information behaviour

Welcome to this survey!!!😊

The survey is aimed at Bachelor, Master, or PhD students who are either currently writing their thesis or have already written one.

This project investigates individuals' information behavior and is part of a Master's thesis by Atefeh Safarkhah.

The survey data will be collected with an online survey system. The online survey data sent over the Internet will be encrypted, no cookies will be used, and your IP addresses will not be collected. The information you provide will be stored on a password and firewall-protected computer. Your responses will be recorded anonymously, that is to say, they will not be collected or brought together with the contact information (name, e-mail) that we have used to contact you. The results of the survey will be used for master thesis presentations. In all publications and presentations, results will be presented in a generalized and aggregated way that assures that no personal identification of respondents will be possible from these reports. The questionnaire contains optional questions on demographic information.

100 £ prizes will be distributed among participants who complete the questionnaire, including vouchers valued at 5,10,15, 20, and 50 £. These vouchers can be redeemed at Amazon.

Participation in the survey is voluntary. To be able to process and analyse your data as part of the survey, we require your consent before the survey begins. If you have questions, concerns, or complaints about this study or want to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future send an email to atefeh.safarkhah-shalkouhi@stud.uni-due.de. Further information can be found in the Data Protection Policy.

To start the survey, please declare your consent and then click “Next”.

This survey is anonymous.

The record of your survey responses does not contain any identifying information about you, unless a specific survey question explicitly asked for it.

If you used an identifying access code to access this survey, please rest assured that this code will not be stored together with your responses. It is managed in a separate database and will only be updated to indicate whether you did (or did not) complete this survey. There is no way of matching identification access codes with survey responses.
